It would be nice to be able to have more then one Grid TimeCard Layout. It would be great to have one layout for Grid TimeCard and then another for Field Ticketing. Field Ticketing needs the Grid TimeCard setup differently then you might want to setup Grid time card, due to the fact the Field Ticketing is for a single. When you make the changes needed to the time card for Field ticketing it make the Grid Time Card more cumbersome for entering multiple days on one row.

This suggestion has been out here since 2020. Below is a link since 2018 that after 45 votes it was marked as "Will not implement". I find it hard to believe that this functionality is not possible. When we used Viewpoint Mobile Field Manager this was possible. Creating timecard layouts by payroll group and only allowing one timecard per payroll group is very short-sighted. Most companies do not want to have to set up multiple payroll groups as it requires more payroll processing and possible reconciliation. Also it is difficult to assign field employees to more than one group, because they could end up working for more than one group during a given week. I would be much easier to have different timecard layouts and assign those to templates. Personally after using this for several years I don't see the point of templates, because you are only allowed one layout per payroll group. Trimble I'm begging you to reconsider this we have so many work arounds for time entry or can't roll out time entry to certain areas of our companies due to the limitations of grid timecards.

Agreed, we have several units who need to see (or not see) different fields (like Craft, Class, Start and Stop Time) on the Grid Timecard. Having multiple layouts would be very helpful for us.
