Feature Request: Enable "Default Phase" Carryover for Clock-In/Out Workflow (FMM)

Reduced Field Friction: The current "double entry" requirement is causing significant frustration for field foremen, with some users describing it as a "headache" that doubles their administrative workload.
Efficiency: For crews working on a single phase for the duration of a shift, re-selecting the same code for every individual employee is redundant and increases the risk of manual selection errors due to "app fatigue."
User Retention: This specific workflow change has led to concerns regarding the continued use of Field Management as a primary timesheet software.

No problem. I don't think a call is necessary and I'll be fully transparent with you. We are already pretty unhappy with the product and this was just the rock that tipped over the tower. I was hoping this would be an optional feature that could be toggled in our Portal Settings but if this is apart of a bigger plan I don't think our company will be using the product long enough to see it to fruition. Thank you for taking the time to reach out though. It's much appreciated.

I was offering a call with Product because I manage how this will be implemented and thought it would be beneficial to discuss our ideas and explain why this was implemented.

We haven't had any other cases regarding the new functionality yet.

No need for a call if you don't want one. Thanks for entering your suggestion.

I talk to my sales rep pretty regularly. He's already aware of what's going on, so I'm not sure we need to setup any additional calls. I just got support to post this for me, because surely we aren't the only ones being effected by this change.

Ah okay, I asked your sales rep to set up a call. Fell free to email me at kellie_medeiros@trimble.com and we can coordinate.
I'd like to talk about why this change was made and what we're planning on implementing in the future to make it easier.

This is the mobile app via Grid Timecard, so basically they implemented the change to force users to have to double submit their phase codes per employee. Support has reached out and told me this is an intended feature. I asked for this to be changed to an optional feature because it defeats the workflow that we have setup entirely.

Hello, which tool are you using for time entry?

Are they clocking in on the login screen, on the nav bar, in the kiosk, on the grid timecard, or somewhere else?
