Technicians are not entering service notes on work orders and are still closing the trip and entering time. Giving a portal option to require a minimum of 50 characters (or more) in the service notes section before entering time or closing the trip would be extremely beneficial as we cannot bill until we know what repair was made. If time is entered by a technician, then some type of work was performed, and we need notes to document the work that was performed at the site.

HI Kelly ' This is for the service notes on the work order so we can send the trip report with a description of the work performed to the customer. If we can force the notes on the labor line type over to the work order (trip ticket), then that would work OR if the requirement impacts the service note on the work order then that would be great and I'll start testing it. Let me know if we're on the same page and this setting forces notes on the work order/trip.
Thanks!

Hey Angie! I was just looking through our settings and found "Require work completed notes on specified line types"
You can require notes on the labor line type before they can submit their time.
I'll attach a screenshot for reference.
Would this work for you guys?
