On the online W4 form, is that possible to totally remove/disable the “To claim Exemption from withholding, certify that you meet both of the conditions check box”? And also disable the Federal Tax Exempt box in viewpoint vista application in HR and PR. So new employee will not be able to select as Federal tax exempt themselves?
Per the HR user, there are lots of HR staffs proceed daily tasks, so it is easier to miss to verify the one created by others. Once the Federal Tax Exempt box is checked on the Online W4 form and employee get initialized, in the viewpoint vista Federal Tax Exempt box is also checked on, some updates i.e defendant ‘s payment entered after does not get updated in viewpoint vista application due to Federal Tax Exempt.

Per discussion with our HR users, they would like this solution to have an indicator for the admin notifying them that the new hire selected exempt. Please kindly provide estimated time to complete this enhancement.
Please kindly explain a little about this solution: an indicator for the Onboarding Administrator that an Onboadee has selected Exempt , where should the indicator better located?

Update vista online W4 form to align with 2025 W4, To remove the exemption check box in step 4 on W4 online form, since there is no such checkbox on 2025 W4 form any more. Please see attached 2025 W4 form
I don't believe we can LEGALLY remove the field. Would an indicator for the Onboarding Administrator that an Onboadee has selected Exempt help? My other thought is a pop-up for the user if they select the filed. Let me know if those could potentially help this situation.
