What type of Portal Lock applies to the employee, Portal Locked Notice?

We get an email notification when the portal is locked. So does the employee. But Vista tells me that there are two kinds of locks.

1) Normal Locked, where the employee can not sign into the portal. Too many password attempts.

2) Password locked, where the employee changed their password too many times. This lock lets them in with the current password but does not allow the employee to change their password any more. They changed the password too many times. Support can not tell me how many times that is in what period. The notification is the same for both locks.

This results in me getting the notification that an employee is 'Locked' in the company portal. But the employee tells me that they can still sign in just fine with their password (Password Lock). They think that I am crazy or do not know what I am doing. They show me that they can still log in just fine. But they show as LOCKED in the Portal User Access screen.

We need a way to know what type of lock is on the employee! Add it to the notificaton or even better, to the Admin User Access screen.

Otherwise support can not tell us what type of lock it is. As an admin I can not tell what type of lock is on my employee. I am told that if I learn SQL I can run some tables to tell. But Support is not allowed to look at that for me.

Bottom line, if you have more than one type of lock for the portal you have to tell us what type of lock is on that specific employee.

I have worked through support and all that they can tell me to to post the suggestion and have other vote it up. Otherwise not enough people have complained to do anything about this.
