We have gone to using the portal and entering time on a daily basis. Sometimes we do not get Determinations issued soon enough that we can have the payrates updated prior to the effective date. Once the time is inputted in the portal it uses the payrate in the system on that date even though we may change the payrate and effective date after the hours have been entered in the portal. We have to do this line by line in the batch. With 150 employees VERY time consuming and error ridden. Need a way to force a batch to recalculate payrates and amounts when asked to.
