Currently you are unable to review any notes that are at the line item level when approving invoices.
We use Comdata for our credit cards, and do approvals in the portal. Any notes that are put in by the employee with their transactions are imported into Viewpoint at the line item level and when the managers are reviewing they aren't able to see any of the notes put in by their employee.

Entering business purpose in the AP line notes is an audit requirement for our company. Not being able to enter line notes from the portal makes this difficult, though at least these go through to the header inside Vista. This is not helpful on multi-line invoices as the notes pile up in the header with no indication of the line they are associated with.
The bigger issue is that reviewers in the portal cannot see line notes from Employees who code in Vista and AP clerks who enter line notes in Vista. The Vista reviewer notes come through but these are not retained in the permanent transaction record once the invoice is posted out of unapproved.
Support informs me this is an enhancement request, but the inability to enter notes through the portal at the line level that will remain with the transaction after posting seems like a basic functionality.

Do you think we should pull in the notes field as read only or will reviewers need to add notes that are not Reviewer notes too?

Not having this field pull through makes Invoice Review unusable for us
We need it for credit cards as well.
