Vista's built in lookups tool is very difficult to use as you can't enter select statements etc.
For example, for earn codes, I would only like to display a subset of codes to every user (I can currently do this), but if the current user is an administrator, show all earn codes.
If I used the lookups function available in the portal, I would be able to.

Andre - Don't know if this will help, but we built a ud lookup in Vista which limits earn codes in the timecards based on PR departments. Here's the Where Clause that maybe you could tweak to fit your needs?
