Our company is still spending countless hours attempting to configure required export file formats for the various insurance companies that we have benefits with. The ACA standard 834 file output is an industry accepted standard that Viewpoint should provide for companies to export benefit info to their insurance companies.

Just like other Vista modules there are required reporting requirements that can be produced (941s, W2s, 1099s, Tax Reports, Certified Reports, etc.) for companies to fulfill their needs. Why the basic standard benefit output format would not be one does not make sense if you have a benefits portal. We were using a third party and now we use HR Management benefits module so we should be able to manage our own requirements through the full cycle of inputs and outputs.
