Field users need to see some equipment categories and not others. For example, a company may set up categories for depreciation, such as furniture, fixtures, computers, etc. If a UD lookup were pulled from the EMEM or EMCM tables, we could filter the categories using a UD field and provide a more manageable list, making it easier for field users to find the right category.

This relates to the Equipment Dashboard, and the Jobsite Asset's Request Equipment screens. In both cases, the Equipment Category shows all categories. We'd like to filter them to hide certain categories that are irrelevant. They extend the list unnecessarily, cause user frustration as they make the wrong choices when trying to find equipment, and the wrong items are sometimes selected.
Thanks for sending this in. Regarding this request, is it for timecards or the equipment dashboard. If you can describe the problem and the goal it would be very helpful for us to understand the request. For example "Our teams need additional information on the equipment category search on the Equipment Dashboard. We need this because..."
