It would be great to have a program that is already in sync with Vista to also be able to create org charts from its data.
I have been looking for a program that is able to pull data from Vista to make org charts and currently have not been successful in doing so. Any program rep that I approach says I need to pull out the data from Vista to a .csv file and import said file into their program. One problem with this is how often we hire, especially in the spring season. We would be pulling and re-importing the data every week if we were to go this route. I would rather have a program that we already use, and is currently pulling out data for other things, to be able to pull data that is relevant to an org chart automatically than to have to purchase another program where we have to make changes manually. The latter is what we do now, but with the growth of our company, it will not be realistic to continue updating the chart in that way.
I think it makes sense that Keystyle would be able to pull this off as it integrates seamlessly with Vista and so would be able to update automatically. It already touts itself as a one-stop spot for employees so putting the org chart in it makes sense. I think an org chart would be the only chart I would want currently, but if this were possible, it may open the door to other auto-updating charts for benefits statistics, turnover trends, and more. The user-friendly interface of Keystyle is what makes it a perfect candidate for this as well. Ideally, an org chart in Keystyle would be searchable and adjustable, allowing for people to either see the full company chart or break it down into sections based on certain criteria like department, location, and company number.
If there is a partner company that can do this seamlessly (https://clearview.viewpoint.com/Community/Partner-Directory#/browse), that may work for now, but an org chart from Keystyle would be the best option in the log run for Vista clients.

I am writing to bring to your attention several critical limitations within our current HR system that are affecting our ability to efficiently manage team members and organizational structures. Specifically, there are several key areas where enhancements are urgently needed to ensure both compliance and operational effectiveness.
Team Member Management: HR must be able to seamlessly add and remove team members (with Photos for security purposes) in an organization chart format. As roles evolve and attrition occurs, having tracking and information be dispersed properly is critical. The current system makes this process impossible and limits our ability to maintain an accurate and up-to-date employee database where Manager volume / attrition/ etc. can be viewed.
Manager Reporting Structures: Managers need clear visibility into their direct reports and the ability to update team structures as required. Additionally, it is vital that the system allows for changes in reporting structures to be accurately reflected across all teams and departments.
Regulatory Reporting & Compliance: We often need to provide regulatory bodies with accurate, up-to-date information on employees and their reporting structures, especially in project work and employee development contexts. At present, the system does not fully support this, which can lead to delays and complications in meeting compliance requirements.
Onboarding and Development: Managers must be able to onboard new team members efficiently and track development efforts for their employees. The current limitations severely impact our ability to support career development and ensure employees are properly integrated into their teams.
The system in its current form significantly limits our ability to perform these essential tasks. These gaps in functionality hinder both HR and managers, impacting day-to-day operations and compliance. Therefore, I strongly recommend an assessment of these areas for enhancement to ensure our organization can operate smoothly and meet all regulatory obligations effectively.
We believe these improvements will not only enhance internal efficiencies but also ensure we remain compliant with external requirements.
Having an org chart integrated with Vista and the HR Portal would be very helpful, especially during performance reviews. It would give us the ability to create reports or dashboards for upper management to review evaluations for people under their direct or indirect supervision.
Pingboard is really really cool. Could Viewpoint just integrate with Pingboard? Or create that kind of functionality? Interactive org chart and directory with employee skills!
I just logged into this suggestion box to make the exact same suggestion. I also cannot find a company that integrates seamlessly so that the org chart is always up to date without requiring uploads. This feature would be a nice complement to the HR focus that Keystyle is now moving toward.
