We'd like to be able to control what equipment locations are available for selection in the portal when users are transferring equipment between jobs and locations. We have several locations in Vista that are active and valid for back office use, but we don't want them to be selectable by users in the portal.
To achieve this functionality, I've added a line of code to the SQL stored procedure that filters the result set displayed to the user, but this isn't an ideal solution. A couple of ways this could be achieved:
1. Create a setting that allows an override of the default portal look up by referencing the lookup used by the EM Location Transfer "To Location" field (for example, "Use Vista EM Location lookup for available locations"
2. EM Location select statement SQL override in the portal (similar to Employee Group Sql overrides)
