We would like the pop up error for duplicate information in the grid timecard to behave differently. Currently it looks at all fields, including the notes section to determine if the line has 'duplicate information". We would like the error message to look at the employee/job/phase/hours, but exclude any information within the notes field. We are using a shared timecard and when two admin are putting the same job/time in for an employee, but one includes notes and the other doesn't or they add a similar note, but not the same wording, the timecard allows both admin to enter the same information and it doesn't generate the pop up error.

The Grid Timecard will throw error whenever there are lines that have the same coding information excluding things like hours. Can you post a screenshot of an example timecard that you are using and the lines you are referring to?

Also, the memo field is generating an error when the job/phase/memo are the same but the TIME is different. This is a false error.
