There is currently no easy way in Keystyles to obtain a weekly summary of employee time. The Timecard Dashboard "export" function exports employee time by DAY on one sheet, rather then having itemized listing of ALL days worked on one sheet; the Dashboard export also seems to have no reasoning behind the export order -- it is not sorted by timecard date nor by employee name. This leads to a jumbled mess of names and days.
This results in Overhead having to print 5+ sheets for EACH employee to accurately review and approve weekly employee time. The Timecard Dashboard itself, as is currently formatted, also does not make reviewing weekly time an easy task and leads to cumbersome clicking. An easy to read report/export is NEEDED to make things faster. see attached.

For us we do not use the standard timecard approval page, it doesn't show items in "grid mode" so it's very hard to read and approve. Have you ever looked at someone's standard timecard with 50 or so entries? It's impossible to efficiently approve time through there All our employees use the grid timecard and then approve through the "view" page and then approve.
BUT- this functionality would be nice in job time approval- When people approve in job time approval, they get confused when they can't see someone's whole week, we have people working 3 jobs but each has a different PM. So they are looking at it thinking where's the rest of their time? Some of the time from Job X really should be charged to Y but I can't even see it?? Even if they couldn't change it, the PM could at least make sense of the week.
Something like this for the Crew Time Entry would be wonderful. Our guys have to print a timecard for each daily template and manually check the weekly totals for an employee . I created a custom weekly recap report but occasionally our report will duplicate an employee and I have not figured out why.
Hey Team,
I wanted to get your feedback on the new consolidated by employee view on the Timecard Approval page that was release in February. Has this helped your users with approving their timecards? Are there any changes that can make this page even better?
Thanks!
Hi Team,
We recently released a consolidated Timecard Approval page which will allow your timecard approvers to see all time for an employee across all of the templates they might be on. Once you upgrade to version 1.20.2, you should see this functionality.
Please let me know what you think!
I would love to see the option to export to Excel as well.
If we could have a subtotal by employee on the Grid Timecard Entry, I think this would help to address this issue. That would be very helpful.
