In Vista, in Equipment Categories, the equipment is tied to a Job Class. When Payroll enters time, the job class is automatically updated to the correct job class when the unit number is entered. This functionality needs to be added to the app as well. Otherwise, Payroll will have to go through every entry in the batch and correct all the entries for job class. This is one of the major issues preventing our deployment of the app at this time.

We shipped this a while back :) When time is submitted from the FM mobile app, the employee Class will default based on the equipment and job when saved to PR Timecard Entry.
Please let me know if you have any questions!
Our field personnel will not change the job class. It is all employee default and automatic changes based on equipment. Payroll will make any necessary adjustments after that in Vista.

This is on our road map. When we roll out the feature to assign a piece of equipment to an employee we will review this feature as well.
