Equipment Work Order Parts from Inventory

Please add the ability for mechanics to add parts to the equipment work order, equivalent to the EM Work Order's Parts tab (EMWP table). The ability to see or add a work order isn't saving us much time or effort if our mechanics can't indicate which parts they pulled off the shelf for a repair.

We are attempting to implement Work Orders. An easy way to see the parts is a must if we want to use this functionality

Thanks for getting back on this one. If they could choose an inventory category and then the part needed and the number of parts that is what they need. Part number, description, unit measure and quantity I believe is all they would need to se. Amount on hand or on order are no typically relevant to them.

    Hey Team,

This is a feature we plan on adding into the portal. Will your mechanics need to use all of the fields available in the EMWO parts tab or can we simplify it?

    Thanks!

The idea of being able to add a work order in the field using the portal is very interesting to our mechanics.  They need the unscheduled maintenance more than scheduled to be accessible via the portal and this would be a big help.

We need the mechanics to be able to see what parts are needed for repairing each piece of equipment.

There is a field in Vista called EMWP.Description that pulls the needed items for each work order. The report "EM Work Orders" looks like the report we need, but a version available in Keystyle, as the users who need it don't have access to Vista.
