We would like to have a notes field to enter in additional information for work orders. For an example if extra material is used for a work order. It needs to be accounted for and billed to the customer. Right now there is not a way for a field guy to make note of an additional billable item to send to the office administrators so they know to bill something extra.

The ideal location would just be the notes tab, but if that doesn’t work the work completed tab would work as well. The only issue with the work completed notes is that it shows up on the invoice. So we would probably have to manually cut and paste to the notes field ourselves. As long as we can get the notes to pull into somewhere in SM Work Order we will be happy.

I'm reviewing the suggestion and have want to make sure I understand it correctly. Are you asking for the notes on an SM Timecard Entry to migrate over to the SM Work completed notes grid? Just want to understand your workflow.
