This eliminates duplicate entry on the part of the employee and ensures requested days off make it to the timesheet.

This would be a really nice feature to have automated so that people non-exempt (hourly) employees aren't entering more than 8 hours for vacation or holiday timecard entries or even potentially forgetting about it and end up being paid for overtime hours when it should be straight time.

This is currently available by a technical support request. They can put together an sow for you and make it happen. From a dev perspective, we are looking at making this a feature, but it is not yet planned.
