Our managers don't currently have a good way of scheduling manpower - it's currently on one person's Excel file, which is then shared as a PDF and nobody else is able to change it. If a feature could be added where multiple managers could collaborate on some kind of scheduling chart, it would solve many of our problems in this area. We currently do a 3 week look-ahead, but having a way to do this in the portal as far out as possible would be great. We would need to sort by employee / craft / job / work order, and have assigned users that could make changes. Any way to create this by craft would be good as well, if one craft could have a single chart while 2 others could share another, it would fit our needs.

We have a lot of employees that bounce in and out of service work so on one hand we are using Field Service which is a great tool that offers so much and then they go to a job# they don’t have any kind of dashboard or schedule to look at.
Having something like this would really kind of create a whole package for end users whether they are doing service or a project.
We need a tool like this can help support our man power scheduling as well!!!
Any hope of getting resource planning back???
Hey Michael - What happened to resource planning? Is it coming back? Just saw the following in Spectrum propaganda, and we would LOVE to have something like this:
RESOURCE SCHEDULING – Track and manage all the equipment and people that are part of every job. Assign equipment and personnel to job sites on a day-to-day basis. Once scheduled, employees receive an email letting them know when and where they will be working. (Requires Equipment Control)
This looks like its tied to resource planning. This comment might be moved over to the resource planning board.
