Dear Viewpoint Suggestion Box contributor;
We at Viewpoint sincerely thank you for your contribution to Suggestion Box on how we can improve Viewpoint products. While we can’t do everything at once, we rely upon your feedback to help guide the prioritization of our product improvements, and Suggestion Box is a critical tool for us to understand and prioritize our customers’ needs.
Viewpoint reviews Suggestion Box regularly for all of our products and updates statuses, adds comments, and performs various house-keeping (including deleting) as needed to ensure that Suggestion Box is maintained as a productive environment for product enhancements requests.

This has caused our company a lot of problems as well. For us it is more of a problem then a solution. I would really like for this button to be gone.
For examples like these, I am guessing the class of the employee is shown on the timecard. If it is shown, are your employees changing classes regularly? I ask because if you do not need to change the classes, but rather need employees to be saved with their default class, it may be best not to show the column. This would result in the default class showing. If you do change classes, perhaps the real request is to have class have an option to copy as the default class instead of copying from the line. Let us know what you think.
Yes, there is a business purpose to this case. We have had several instances where an employee with a level of, let's say a foreman, copying his row of job, phase code, and hours to that of an apprentice level employee. The name gets changed to the apprentice, but the level of pay is not changed in the system. Which causes the Apprentice to be paid out at the foreman level. In some cases, the differences in pay and benefits can be significant causing an increase in payroll costs, the cost of correcting the time card.
Is there a business case to not have this?
