The PO entry process in the portal allows for some fields to be defaulted, but SM Cost Types isn't one of them yet. After trying to set the field to default to our desired value in Vista, we found that it will not work (it creates a conflict with non-SM type purchase orders). We just need the ability to default the value for SM Cost Types at the line level through the portal to save some time for the guys in the field who create PO's.
