Being able to sign into the field management mobile app with windows credentials would be very helpful for employees so they do not have to remember tons of different usernames and passwords. Our guys don't even know their employee numbers. I am going to have to send an email to each individual user explaining how to sign in and what their employee number is.

Mike, we are still reviewing additional login options for the app with our team. I'll add an update here once I have more information.
When can users log in using windows authentication (instead of employee #)? We use SSO because we are publicly traded and have to have certain ways of ensuring data security to comply with SOX requirements. Having all these different login methods is impossible to maintain from a security standpoint. Is SSO on the road map at all?

We have been using the welcome email to let our guys know their employee numbers, and by now our guys are pretty used to using their employee number to log in. All our guys do have windows authenticated logins, but most of them have never used it before. Since all their usernames are formatted the same it would have been easier in the beginning for them to learn their username rather than their employee number. Now that they all have been using their employee number for a while I don���t think this will be incredibly helpful anymore. However I am very interested in making initializing the mobile app easier. We have been having a lot of issues that require uninstalling and reinstalling the field management app, and I have to walk everyone though the process of logging into the portal and initializing the app each time. So if there is a way to make initializing a one click from an email or something along those lines it would make our lives much easier. I know some of our other apps use a shortcode to connect to our account. Which in my opinion is the easiest way to do it. I can just put the short code in their notes on their iPads and they can uninstall and reinstall their apps without needing anything from me at all.
Hi Austin, we have a welcome email in our portal you can use to let each of your employees know their employee number and how to enroll in the portal for the first time. In our next release, we will also be adding a mobile invitation email for making initializing the mobile app easier. Do all of your mobile app users have a windows authenticated login?
