The "Submit Expenses For" list on the Submit Expense page shows all cardholders, not just those with Unreconciled or Items Pending Submission. Because our Expense Admin codes and submits all field employees' credit card transactions, she would have to flip through all 80+ cardholders to see which have transactions that need to be worked. To alleviate that, she currently uses an Excel spreadsheet to keep track of which cardholders she's worked and which still need to be worked. Refine the list to those cardholders with outstanding transactions. Another option is to include Submitted status on Credit Card Import grid so that she can track from there.

Hey Michael - I hear you. I realize a lot of folks are using expenses very differently than we are and didn't think about them needing to initiate transactions from that list. I believe a link from the Credit Card Import page to the Submit Expense page would work. Are you thinking the link would be available if the transaction is either Unreconciled or Pending Submission but would go away if the transaction has already been packaged and Submitted?
Hi Melissa,
The enter expenses for is not limited to just credit card transactions. The page is created to allow for mileage, reimbursement, and credit card entry. Is there a reason to limit this list to a subset. Perhaps a link from the credit card import page is a better workflow for you. Limiting the names in the dropdown to users that have credit card transactions doesn't seem to be the correct workflow.
What do you think?
