Currently in Admin>Portal Settings it gives us the current version of the portal as well as Vista Viewpoint. We get emails when updates will happen to both portal and Viewpoint. It would be great if at least the next portal update would also be listed on our portal site near the "Current Version" so that we don't have to go back to an email when we need to see when our next update will be. This is even more important, since in 2024 there were semiannual updates, then in 2025 there were bimonthly and now in 2026 there are quarterly. I also know sometimes there are emergency updates. Having all this different random changes and communication things, it would be nice if we had one place to look for what is planned.

Dear Viewpoint Suggestion Box contributor;
We at Viewpoint sincerely thank you for your contribution to Suggestion Box on how we can improve Viewpoint products. While we can’t do everything at once, we rely upon your feedback to help guide the prioritization of our product improvements, and Suggestion Box is a critical tool for us to understand and prioritize our customers’ needs.
Viewpoint reviews Suggestion Box regularly for all of our products and updates statuses, adds comments, and performs various house-keeping (including deleting) as needed to ensure that Suggestion Box is maintained as a productive environment for product enhancements requests.

I get emails work, but sometimes they can be blocked or not everyone subscribes to the updates or knows who gets the emails so we forward often. That is good to know that every 6 weeks it updates and since this isn't always the first week in this month or the same day of the month, another reason publishing or updating our portal with what to expect could be valuable. Sometimes I don't save the past emails to know when is the next 6-week date to know that it may happen soon. I was thinking it was like monthly or every other month before reading this, so I would tell my team that there is likely an update coming that may fix this thing or add this new feature and I just had that date or could tell my Vista Portal users where to look if they were curious, that would help.
Hi Derek, thanks for the feedback.
The ERP release scheduled has changed over the last couple of years.
Vista Web has always been every 6 weeks.
Both Vista and Vista Web are updated in "waves" the release date is different depending on the wave you are in.
Release dates can change at the last minute depending on items found by QA.
The email notifications are the most efficient way for us to get you an accurate date for an update.
