Per new CA requirements of SB 294, by March 30th, 2026, California employers must provide all employees with the opportunity to designate an emergency contact to be reached if they are detained or arrested. Employees are not required to provide this emergency contact, but if a contact is provided, employers must attempt to reach them in the event of arrest or detainment.
Would like to see the emergency contact task updated to include this designation via the onboarding task as well as update personal info.

Hi Jon, we will review this request. In the meantime, you can add a UD field to personal info and it will update the PR/HR record in Vista.
