We are big fans of the Checklist, Onboarding Tasks, and Action Item features. As we continue to automate workflows, we often encounter scenarios where a field should only be required based on answers to other prompts.
Currently, a template can mark a field as required, but that requirement is static. It would be extremely helpful if the platform allowed us to make a specific checklist instance item required based on custom logic (even if done via a trigger or rule).
In short:
âś… Templates can already define required fields
🚀 We’d love the ability to conditionally require a field per instance, based on business logic we define
This enhancement would give us much more flexibility and reduce user error across onboarding and approval workflows.
Thank you for considering this improvement — we believe many customers would benefit from it!
