PR Employee Leave taken dates should sync with the request history in Portal Time Off. Right now, PTO requests only push from the portal to Vista HR Resource Schedule. The portal Time Off, PR Employee Leave and HR Resource Schedule should all have the same data (sync).
Right now, employees have to enter the request in the portal and put it on their timecard...two steps. This can sometimes lead to differences between the portal and Vista as to what was actually taken off. This causes confusion as the portal has one set of dates and Vista has another set of dates.
For example, someone is sick so they don't request the time off in advance. When they return, they put the PTO on their timecard but don't enter it in the portal.
Also, someone requests two days off in the portal and due to work demands, can only take off one day. They are not able to update it in the portal after the date has passed. They put the right time taken off on their timecard, but can't update the portal.
There should be some way for the timecards (what is actually taken) to sync back to the request history. Not just leave balances, but list the dates under the request history. It would give employees an accurate picture of dates taken in a convenient place for them to reference. Right now, they could have an available balance that does not match the dates they took in the portal
