We would like to see a Shift Wage Multiplier Based on Earn Code added to PR Earning Codes. For employees working non-PW jobs not on shift 1 we need to add a factor multiplier to the employees base wage, not a fixed rate.
Adding additional ECs specifically for shifts is not very practical since reports and matrixes will need to be updated for each additional EC added. Plus, this requires a manual EC switch for each timecard line effected by shift work.
EX: Most of our contracts have a 10% wage multiplier for shift 2 and a 15% multiplier to shift 3. Since this is for non-PW each employee could have a different base wage rate.
