We have an onboarding task that requires the user to download a document, sign it, and then upload the signed version. As part of this process, our HR team uploads the unsigned document as an attachment in one step, and the user is expected to download it and upload the signed version as a new attachment in the next step.
Issue:
Occasionally, the user being onboarded accidentally deletes the original attachment uploaded by HR.
Request:
We would like to see an enhancement in the advanced options for hiring process tasks—specifically, a setting similar to "Allow users to add attachments," but with more control. Ideally, this would be something like:
"Allow users to add attachments, but not remove existing ones."
This would help prevent accidental deletion of important documents while still allowing the user to upload their signed version.
