We use the Checklist feature for critical documentation—incident reports, terminations, accidents, and employee write‐ups—across multiple departments (Dirt, Concrete, Asphalt). Each department has its own project manager, so there isn’t a single overall job PM. Currently, once a checklist is submitted, it cannot be edited; this forces us to hold off on submission and rely on email sign‐offs before finalizing in the portal and manually adding to Viewpoint.

What we need:

• Multiple tiers of review. A workflow where checklists can be routed sequentially or in parallel to department heads/project managers for their sign‐off or feedback.

• Selective permissions on finalization. The ability to designate which roles can submit or finalize a checklist. For instance, a Manager or designated Admin might have rights to finalize a checklist only after all reviewers have signed off.

• Revisions before final submission. The ability to make small corrections or updates to a checklist after it’s been initially routed but before it’s “locked” or finalized.
