We have found that certain fields from HR Resources and PR Employees, such as Hire Date and Term Date, are being excluded from the dropdown of Available Fields in Request Settings. We made a ticket for this and were told that "these were not fields users would modify so we did not make them available".
We find this answer to be confusing. First of all, we wanted to make Hire Date availble as Read Only (the system does allow this) so our users could see what their hire date was and would no longer need to bug the payroll team. Second, there are NUMEROUS other fields already available in "Available Fields" that users would also have no need to modify (I9Citizen, HiringLocationID, BirthDate, to name a few) so why exclude a few when there are plenty of others still available? We would prefer that all were made available so we could set them Read Only or whatever at our choosing.
