Currently if you have the Jobs approval enabled in the Expense portal settings, and a user charges an expense to a job, the system uses the Job reviewer group, and the manager of that job receives the approval request. If/when there isn't a reviewer group assigned in that job, the system then checks assignment of reviewers in User Access. This scenario only allows for one level approval.

If the setting for job approval is dis-enabled, Approval Permissions and User Access reviewer groups are used. This scenario allows for two level approvals.

The current setup does not support our scenario where an employee's dept. mgr. is required to approve their expense, AND the manager of the job charged to (when it's a different dept. from the employee submitting the expense). Additionally, if the employee is a field employee they need a Superintendent's approval--currently there isn't a way to have the SI approve, then the dept. of the job charged to approve, then the employee's dept. manager.

Therefore, we need three level approvals for expense reimbursement--one from the SI if the employee is a field employee (Approval Permissions), then from the user's department manager (User Access), and if charged to a Job from another department, that dept. manager needs to be routed to approve (Job approval). Please provide the ability to choose 3 approval routing options as needed--Approval Permissions, Job, and User Access.
