Currently approvals allowed in the system are for expenses charged to Jobs and if a reviewer group isn't assigned there the system checks assignment in User Access, OR if the setting for job approval is not enabled, Approval Permissions and User Access reviewer groups are used. This does not allow to have an employee's dept. mgr. approve AND the manager of the job charged to when it's a different one from the employee dept. who is submitting the expense. Additionally, if the employee is a field employee and needs a Superintendent's approval, there isn't a way to have that, then the dept. of the job charged to, then the employee's dept. manager.
Therefore, we need multilevel approvals for expense reimbursement--one from the user's department manager, and if charged to a Job from another department, that dept. manager needs to be routed to approve, and when it's a field employee, the Superintendent will need to receive it to approve. Please provide the ability to choose 3 approval routing options as needed--Approval Permissions, Job, and User Access.
