My suggestion is that if the Onboardee does NOT complete the "Not Required" Direct Deposit optional task, that it should show as 100% completed. If an employee does not complete the Direct Deposit task, the status taskbar shows as 10/11 completed, even though Direct Deposit is not a required task. If this task is not completed, the Onboarding Completion email is not generated and we are not notified that the Onboardee has completed all of their paperwork. This would be beneficial to our company so all parties with access to the Onboarding site are notified that all tasks are complete and we can begin the Orientation process.

I Agree! I'm OCD about everything being complete, but because our direct deposit is "not required" some people just don't complete it because they want a live check. Therefore when they go to initialize the employee, it's showing 12/13 or whatever amount of tasks completed.
