Our employees are paid a different rate for travel and on job work. If an employee enters into gride timecard 1 hour travel to a job, 6 hours on the job, and 1 hour travel back, FM combines the travel to 2 hours. So if the employee hits his 40 hours while he's at the job site, his travel home should get paid as overtime. But if FM combines the two travels, something is not going to get paid correctly.
Giving us the option to not combine lines would completely eliminate this problem. And allow our time entry to match the grid timecard.
