When the final pdf of the I9 is generated either through download or initialization, only a certain number of characters are visible in each field.
Cutting off the text of the issuing authority or the name of the document is not just a clerical issue, but could potentially be a legal one, depending on the circumstances.
When there is too much text to fit, the text should shrink to fit the field, rather than cutting off partway.
