Requesting the return of the column view in Invoice Review

According to Aaron Oliver over in Application Support the invoice review when viewed on a tablet triggers a card view due to the lower pixel count. I can understand this if it was just doing this in the mobile version of the page. However, when setting the desktop version switch for the browser it does not change the lower frame from mobile(card) to desktop(columns). Note: the invoice review page has two frames the top frame does register when a mobile browser wants the desktop version as the layout changes. So, I know this is possible on the lower frame.
My users want to be able to sort by columns and the card view does not allow this.
