In the portal you can cancel or set a PTO request back to pending after the entry is IN or POSTED through PR Leave Entry. Once in or Posted through PR Leave Entry the line item in the portal should no longer be editable and should be read-only.
It will not bring this back into the batch (which is great) but it could cause confusion or audit issues to see it change status or even be deleted from the portal after it's been processed.
