I was recently shown the training history and training manager features in the portal. I asked about security on who could see what. It was explained that if someone had access then they would have access to everything. It would be useful to lock down what people could see based on job class/location. I would like field supervision to use the feature but it is none of their business if a vice president has certain training. Or if we use the feature for disciplinary or personal development, it may not be other people's business that someone had to take a time management course for example.

Hi team, in Admin > Approval roles you can set who has permission to see who. You should be all set using that permission structure.
Couldn't this be managed by creating, at minimum a group that excludes the vp people and a group for the field supervision and then grant permissions accordingly in the Approval Permissions page? You can also exclude certain Training Codes from view in the Admin Portal.
