There currently is no way to designate an employee you're initializing from the portal over to Vista, as exempt or non-exempt. Therefore when you initialize a new hire to Vista, the only information that flows is salary - which doesn't even update correctly in Payroll. You should add fields to the onboarding initialization dashboard in the portal for exempt or non-exempt and then following, the option to add in salary or hourly pay information. This information should then flow into Vista and update the HR Employee Resource and the Payroll Employee profiles.
