Cloning of Timecards is very helpful for certain cohorts of users, but if they don't use the Job/Phase, it leaves many PR Timecard Batch entries that have zero hours. This is actually a suggestion for Vista, but it would be to support Vista Web. Payroll should have a button on their posting app that displays all the zero hours and allows them to delete them. This cleans up the clutter of zero hour lines that post to JCCD and also eliminates any inactive phases or closed jobs that carried over from cloning.

An add-on to this suggestion is that Payroll should have an exception report to show them if there are any closed jobs or inactive phases in their batch before they try to post it. I have created this report for them, but this would be helpful for Vista Web timecard users. (This happens if someone enters time on Monday, and Accounting deactivates the phase or closes the job later in the week. The inactive hours stay in the Timecard Batch.)
