currently we have a Performance Review (PR) process that is 3 levels. Let's take me for example, I have 7 people who report to me, then I report to the IT Director, and IT Director reports to CFO. When I complete a review for my subordinates, I sit with my direct report and we go through the PR. The employee then signs off on it. That PR then goes to the IT Director for his approval, then to the CFO for his approval. All PR's are sent to a Vice President over that division just to show they saw it and agree with the review. I am the only person filling out the review.
We need a way to push teh PR through a work flow approval process so all 'managers' can approve the PR. Currently we are PRINTING this and hand delivering to the next person for approval. That's A LOT of trees.
I know AP invoices have an approval process, so I would assume there should be a way to develop an approval process for PR's. Currently we can't use the PR section the way it is. PLEASE....make improvements.

Please develop some kind of tiered workflow of permissions to make this possible! This is impacting our performance eval capabilities as well!
This is very much needed. This is a common process in most companies - for the one up supervisor to review and/or comment on a review before it is finalized.
We have a similar situation. The manager has to sit with their supervisor to review the PRs before meeting with the direct reports. We have no workflow to allow them to check them off as reviewed and approved. No need for them to fill out a complete PR, just a sanity check.
Agreed - it would be very helpful if the review could be routed to others within the organization for acknowledgement / approval, but without requiring them to complete the entire review themselves.
This helps keep the "next level" of management informed, without eating up an inordinate amount of their time.
