This has been going on since we started using Keystyle 2 years ago. The portal doesn't lock people out at the end of the pay period until we post the batch.
We have a 24 hour overlap between pay periods which ends every other Monday. The portal should lock out at noon on Tuesday so employees cannot enter time to the old period but because we use daily grid time cards, if they haven't entered time for a particular day in the "locked" period, the portal lets them in. We prefer to leave the batch open until Wednesday morning so we can make corrections to overtime, etc. but it shouldn't let anyone add time once the period locks down.
