For any Time-Off Requests that are approved by a Supervisor, it would be ideal to see that cached entry prepopulate on a Timecard for the pay-week at which the Request occurs.
Having an automated solution like this would allow for less manual entry and less manual correction at the end of a pay period for those taking Time-Off.
For example: If John requests 8 hours (full day) off on December 26th, when the pay period arrives, a line item of 8 PTO hours would be prepopulated. If someone "Clones" their timecard, the Time-Off Request wouldn't be overwritten by the prior weeks timecard.

We have looked into this request extensively over the years and we cannot implement a standard procedure for auto populating the timecard because every company handles time off differently. We can provide this functionality through our professional services team who can customize it to your needs! It's a very common customization and doesn't take very long.
