Now that logging in with Viewpoint ID is required, it would be less confusing to our users if the Employee ID and password were removed and just having the Viewpoint ID for logging in.

Our current workaround for this for SSO/VPID users is to use the following URL format:
https://<company_name>-hff.viewpointforcloud.com/Account/IdentityLogin
Specifically, the /Account/IdentityLogin portion of the URL bypasses the login page and takes users directly to the portal if they're already authenticated, or it will have them log in first and take them there afterwards.
Thank you. This can be a tricky way to log in with so many options, so the easier we can make it, the better.
We are currently redesigning the login page to make this an easier experience for users!
Won't we ALWAYS have users (Employee Self Service) that need to login with Employee ID? What if Vista Web is the only Trimble/Viewpoint product they use? Are they going to need a VPID too?
This would be a welcome change. We just migrated up to the cloud, and at least 70% of our users tried to login with their employee ID! :)
I agree this would be very helpful and far less confusing for our team members. It would also be great if the login screen could be bypassed altogether when the user is authenticated, just like it does already for Vista Reports in Viewpoint Team.
