The remaining budget value is not updated as th budget changes. For example, when a PO approver reviews the PO and notices that the PO will make the budget go over, they will take the necessary steps to correct that in the budget before approving the PO. Once the budget has been updated (through PCO > ACO in our case) the "Remaining Budget" value in the portal remains the same as it was. The only fix that we found was to re-submit the PO for approval which is far from ideal.
