Viewpoint support says:
“No matter how many columns are frozen in the Grid Timecard, only the first column will be frozen if viewing from a mobile device. This is by design to prevent users from accidentally locking/freezing the page.”
Somebody was afraid that the customer would lock all fields to the left. So now we are disabling the ability for the foremen to see job staying locked when scrolling the lines. When you have 30 lines – this scrolling back and forth is a real pain on the ipad.
Seeing name+job would eliminate this painful experience.
Note: Using the browser "Desktop Site" option makes no difference.
I customized this for our company. I can now see why it is disabled for mobile phones - See attached image. But we need a way to exclude tablets from the restriction and mobile check. If customer locks up a tablet it should be on them! :)
