We have over 1000 GL accounts that we use, and frequently have a need to override the default GL account assigned to the JC Cost type. It would be fantastic if we could display the GL account and allow approvers to modify it for job type line items in Financial Controls.
This functionality already exists in traditional AP Entry and AP Unapproved Invoices in Vista, and we've come to rely on it. Often our AP clerk won't know the correct GL account unless told by the approver, and this would greatly improve our process. Creating enough cost types, for all of our jobs, to cover all the accounts, would need an enormous effort to complete and maintain to work with the current FC limitations.
This same request is applicable to Expense Reporting as well.
