Expense description on the Trial Balance

Currently when a credit card is posted and when looking at the trial balance report in Vista, it shows our Credit Card Vendor name and number and the "invoice number" - it would be nice, if these batches would allow you to post a description instead.  It would be very beneficial to see who's PCard was responsible and what the charge was for.  We used to see it come across this way from the import we did that was posted as a Journal Entry or a Job Cost Adjustment. The Trial Balance would show the description  As of now, we don't know who the charges belong to by simply looking at the Trial Balance or AP.

Hi Garry, I've attached an image of what is entered when a receipt is uploaded and entered by the employee.  does this answer your question?  If not, please let me know.

     thanks!

What line level info is entered/imported on your credit card invoices? What is 'GL Expense Interface Level' is assigned in AP Company Parameters? You should be able see line description if interfacing at the line level - and with the ability to attach images/docs to both invoice line and header (coming soon), the TB will provide even better access to your data.

here is an example of good and bad description on the Trial Balance - the PCard is the expense transaction from Keystyles that the IRS won't accept. Please update it so we can see notes/description fields so we can tell what the charge is for.

    Hey Penny and team,

This board is awesome and I love to see the community involvement.  Lets get you more engaged as this seems to be a critical item for you.  Please provide a few screen shots of the workflow and how you would like it to be.  Everyone here will benefit from it.  Regarding updates, this board is to collaborate as a community, not to be a task list.  Let's work together to build something great.

    Cheers

This is a must for T&M Jobs along with receipt images at the line item level as opposed to on the header of that invoice.
