When I hire a new employee, I onboard them through HFF and initialize to Vista with a future hire date. Vista does not recognize the future hire date, though it's input correctly, to activate them as an active Payroll employee. Vista should be able to recognize the future hire date and check the active Payroll Employee box so I don't have to manually go back in to do so.
